As we leave the village, we have views across the valley
We cross the playing field
And continue downhill
Steve looking a bit lost
Having reached the bottom we head back uphill
Archway School behind us
Over the Gloucester Road
Now approaching Stroud College
Still going downhill
Over the new railway crossing
And on to the Canal
Which we cross over
Then head along the towpath
Under a well decorated bridge
Approaching Ebley Mill
Our only chance of seeing a Kingfisher
Nice to see the Canal open for navigation
Takes you back
Ready for the floods
Ryeford double lock
Inspecting the restoration work
Cotswold Way now running along the Canal towpath rather than the cycle path
Following the Cotswold Way through the vineyards
Then steeply uphill to Far Westrip
Surprised these two old codgers made it
Views over Stonehouse, Dairy Crest and the river
Or back across to Rodborough Common
Before we stroll downhil back to the start
