Most of us manage to park on the grass verge at Rodmarton for Ros and Sally’s walk
We set off across fields towards Tarlton
Where poppies are coming out
Ros waits for us at the back
Before crossing a field with a couple of horses
To Tarlton Church where Keith takes a photo of 1 of the four windows done by Tom Denny (famous for his stained glass window of Judas Iscariot in Gloucester Cathedral, among others)
After coffee there we move on through Tarlton village and take a diversion to avoid a muddy track. We pass this rose
Ros and Sally are relieved that their spontaneous diversion is in fact a good path
There are plenty of wildflowers including this Pyramidal Orchid
We go round the back of Hazleton Manor
With this manege
Which this horse won’t need
Huge field of daisies
Spotted orchid
Then nearly back to Rodmarton
