John's in charge
We leave the path through the Bathurst Estate
It rained a lot yesterday
And enter Cirencester Park
With its wide Rides
Waiting for the others to catch up
Then across a wide open space
Cirencester Church down the Ride to our left
Through long grass
We come to the main road. Fortunately we have a gate and don't have to use this stile
We're at the sawmill
After the wood we emerge into farmland
Sue spots a Butterfly orchid
We head into Coates
A field full of daisies
John has organised coffee at the Tunnel House (beer/cider for some)
And his amazing Carrot and Coconut cake - even better than the Lemon Drizzle
We experiment with this in the doorway. For taking boots off
Feet and boots were different in 1929
We leave Hailey Wood
And follow a wide path
Full of wide flowers
And spot a Bee orchid
In fact there are lots of them
Some more purple than others.
