Starting place. Sapperton Church
Brian waits (fairly) patiently
We head off towards Pinbury Park
Encountering wildlife on the way
Now looking across frosty fields to Pinbury Park House
Passing the pond
With views down the valley
Watched by some hound dogs
And the famous squirrel
A misty frozen day
Now down into Dorval Wood
Crossing the stream
Then up through the woods
The sun catching the trees
Bringing up the rear
Until we stop for coffee at the polo ground
Our path takes us through a herd of polo ponies
And back into the woods
Think he wants to come with us
As we cross Daneway Banks
And into Siccaridge Woods
Then down to the canal
Along to the Daneway - still being refurbished
The River Frome passes under the canal at this point
As we reach the Daneway Portal
And head uphill into Sapperton
With views across the valley.
