Richard is leading today
From Sapperton Church
We head down to the canal
And the Daneway
Which is ready for Christmas 5 weeks ahead
There's a problem on the canal path which we circumnavigate
But the rest of the path is ok
Though the river and canal seem very close
Up through Siccaridge Woods
Along the road then up above Daneway Banks
With lots of Old Man's Beard below
Polo ponies
And cart horses
From Gloucester Beeches we can see Duntisbourne House
Then it's downhill
On a mudddy path
Past Hebridean sheep and one with 4 horns
The Welly Brigade paddle across while the rest of us use the footbridge
Sue demonstrating the depth
Up past Pinbury Park
Where they have young fox hounds
We make a circle around the house
Where fungus is growing
A big thatched extension
Then we hit Real Mud
So we are covered by the time we get back.
