Selsley - Monday 2 May 2022 Previous Next All Heading from the large CP on Selsley Common towards the cattle grid On a pleasant morning What a huge pile of firewood! Taking the lower FP towards Bospin Lane, South Woodchester Into pleasant woods Wild garlic is abundant We emerge with wide views Gingerly decending a steep slope A high stile Heading left through the wood Along a path Towards the open valley now owned by the National Trust The NT keep some of their Belted Galloways with young here They are released from operations Feeding time! We now head East with views to The Bear We leave the valley and head through North Woodchester Down the spanking new tarmac Along Water Lane Climbing steeply To obtain views over to Rodborough Fort Up past quarrying to The Toots burial mound And back to the cars Photos and captions by Mike, uploaded by Olivia
