What a choice. The Avon is very full Down we go Carefully The swollen Avon, bound for Bradford on Avon Catkins are evident Ray does the honours at the gate Nice and muddy Up a bit Then down through more mud to recross the Avon Before climbing up into the parkland Passing old trees Is this a huge nest - perhaps not! We reach some buildings And stop for coffee Jacqui our leader has found a good spot Margaret can't resist a peep though the archway This is what she sees Off we go though a horse paddock, struggling with the gate They have seen it all before And a tricky stile the other side Reaching the village. some of us have a look round the church with its Escourt family memorials A large church for a small village Whatever next!
