Shipton Moyne walk - Wednesday 10 August 2016 Previous Next A cat from another angle - I think it's alive The front of the Cat and Custard Pot Olivia clutching a book of walks We head out of Shipton Moyne Soon on a wide track Which we share with horses and dogs The first of many stiles And more horses Heading for the corner of a field Through a wooded area and out into another field Over a bridge And then through a field of barley Reaching Brokenborough Church Leaving the churchyard Another bridge Over a stream Heading down a slight slope Fortunately not electrified We don't have to go that way A short road walk Brings us to the Estcourt Estate Where paths are neatly lawned And we head through a tunnel of trees Mares and foals looking curious And two old sweet chestnut trees As we continue round the estate South Cots putting in cattle troughs A firm favourite We now head towards Shipton Moyne church and back into the village Photos and captions by Richard, processing and uploading by Sally
