Short walk becomes long walk Previous Next All We started with the usual up to Coaley Peak Then decided to go to Nympsfield past grass cut for silage Hedgerows in full bloom We head down the Miry valley where young cattle lurk in the undergrowth Two people sitting away from the path Species rich grassland Ewe and lamb are interested in us We can see Nailsworth in the distance as we decide it’s time to head back These folks come out of Lutheridge Farm to practice Polo Down into Owlpen through the Beech woods The holiday cottages await guests once lockdown is over A new building being constructed for weddings Uley pub has become a shop but we are too late, see the empty bus going by We look down on Uley as we uphill towards home.
