St. Ives - Day 6 - St. Ives to Zennor Previous Next All We catch the open-top bus from the holiday village to St. Ives. Richard calls us wimps for sitting under cover but he might be regretting it. 2 of the group hanging on to Ann's every word Along the beach out of St. Ives Should be quite safe Looking back Bit too early for coffee but plenty of seats On the coast path St. Ives behind us now Everybody out walking Could have caught the boat from St Ives to Seal Island A stop to admire the view Another small cove A steep descent Overtaking another group As we continue along the cliff path Purple heather And gorse Colin crosses a gully Destination of boats from St. Ives We pass a lady who demonstrates the hula hoop she is carrying Someone got dressed in a hurry Another cove The stalwarts striding out As we continue along a more difficult part of the coast With some scrambling But at last we turn inland To Zennor With its pub Old And church Before heading across fields And old stone stiles Many of them - back to St. Ives In the evening we have an excellent meal in Birdies Bistro by the nature reserve.
