The Stanleys leisurely walk - Monday 19 September 2016 Previous Next Margaret greets us on a damp morning We set off through old King's Stanley And see the shape of things to come - a small development here But this is Mankley Fields Soon to be lost to 150 houses Joining up both the Stanleys in sight of Selsley Common Bird feeders galore Through some productive fields Are we in France? Sunflowers as far as the eye can see One still in flower Then maize Patrick ensures that we cross the line safely Keeping a careful look and listen Quite a busy line And another! The boys look keen to see us Ann relates a joke we heard in Brecon - say no more!
