Stinchcombe walk - Saturday 10 February 2018 Previous Next It was the best of days. It was the the worst of days. Mainly worst as we look down from Stinchcombe Hill through the rain and gloom Following the Cotswold Way Views of the Tyndale Monument at North Nibley We continue along the path A short climb The Stanley Tubbs seat Looking down into the Severn Valley The old bus stop Another view over the Severn And over to Dursley Cam Peak and Cam Long Down They would make useful rucksack carriers Following the Cotswold Way down into the woods Before turning up the valley Pausing for coffee at Stancombe And looking back to North Nibley and its church Yes, it's muddy Not raining at the moment Circling round the bottom of the hill Where we encounter a herd of horses Past an old cottage To Stinchcombe church For another break Through woods Today's snowdrop photo Then a steep climb with a rest at the top Brings us back onto Stinchcombe Hill And on to the car park Photos and captions by Richard, processed and uploaded by Sally
