Uley walk - Wednesday 11 April 2018 Previous Next Peter is in the frame A good turnout Wonder if they were any good Daffodils in the wood If you look closely, you can see a bluebell And wood anemones A large house with a tennis court And presumably a swimming pool Stretched out in the mist The Alsatian was upset by all the walkers To avoid a slippery path, some followed an alternative - fine until the end But everyone got down safely Lake with more daffodils Some wood pile - not bad for the end of winter Lampern House A nice location Coffee Looking down on Farmer John's farm - a lot of noise from the cows filled the air That orange house is visible in the mist Downham Hill and Uley Bury Steve conscientiously reties a much-knotted gate A lone swan White violets by the roadside Good friends Richard took a picture of you two last week But we don't have anything to eat What's this? Answers on a postcard A bank of primroses And beautiful aubrieta As we return to a misty Uley. Photos, captions and uploading by Sally
