Each message is dated when it is created. If you wish to update it, you can either do another message, or amend the original message.

To have the amended original appear at the top of the Messages, all you do is Dashboard> Posts> All posts then find the relevant one and press Quick Edit.

Alter the date to today’s date and it will appear at the top of the messages.
