Today we are a large party but Ann is up for the challenge as we gather in the car park of the Ship Inn
Leaving along the canal bank
A peaceful waterside setting
But watch out
Following the route of the old canal
We pass Saul Church
Continuing around fields
Past a pond
A short stretch of road
Before we are on the banks of the Severn
Past a herd of sheep
With views over to the other side
Stopping for coffee
Plenty of rocks to sit on
Fretherne church across the field
Round the bottom of Barrow Hill
A short stretch of road and a horse
Then up the hill
With views down over the river
And on to Wick Court
The farm for city children
Another road walk
Along the river
An ornate house as we walk through Framilode
Heading towards Upper Framilode
On to the canal and back to the pub
