Walks from Dursley 4 Previous Next All Sat 16th May: Our destination is St Peter’s church near Frocester The tower and spire were built in 1849 when the old nave was restored The porch And its door to the nave still exists However the nave was demolished in 1952 and the stone taken to build Wycliffe College Chapel The lychgate With its beautifully carved decoration On the way home we see a paraglider newly released from lockdown Meet some friends And spot these webs in a hedge The maize has grown since Peter and Sue photographed it And the field which was flooded at the start of lockdown is greening up nicely Photos and captions by Karen, uploaded by Sally
