Janet has cancelled the original walk due to extensive flooding on the Thames at Eysey but has remodelled it. The walk will go on the road to the Latton Basin from the North Meadow and do a loop around Latton before returning to the Latton Basin and then across the open meadows back to Cricklade. Here there may be a small section that is deep in water (wellie height) and we’ll review this on the day. If necessary, we’ll have to return to the North Meadow by road. Please wear wellies/waterproof trousers with gaiters and bring a walking pole. A spare pair of socks will also be a good idea. Distance will be 5 – 6 miles depending on the actual route we take on the day. Same starting place.
