We leave Winchcombe for Loren and Harry’s Part One of the new River Coln Trail, spotting this hidden garden off the main street
It’s a beautiful day after all the rain
Lawrence models the gate to nowhere
Which is shortly followed by the stile to nowhere
At Charlton Abbots four of us stop for a longer lunch stop which the rest do an extra loop
There they are!
On the return we make a small detour to a disused water wheel (with plenty of water)
Sudeley Castle in sight
But it’s definitely Autumn
What is this? Spotted by Tina and Sue C at a secret spot somewhere on our walk
It’s Devils Fingers or Octopus Stinkhorn according to Mr. Google, comes from New Zealand and very rare. Nothing boring about our walks!
