Withington walk - Wednesday 22 March 2017 Previous Next Leader Patrick waves his notes. Graham and Sally look amused We set off from the Mill Fearless chaps these Ramblers Wonder what she is thinking about Apparently a native of America The Otter seems unimpressed Our route takes us under an abandoned railway Looking back the other way Following a well-trodden path Through woodland And out into the open To take in the views down into the Coln valley Continuing round a field Then over the river And uphill Now what is that doing in the wood? A few fallen trees to climb over And we are soon out in the open Chance for Patrick to tell us about railways Weather still a bit damp And there is still an electric fence stopping you from sitting on that bench We cross the old airfield We must be feeling co-operative As we wander through woods On muddy tracks Weather a bit brighter Bringing up the rear Nearly back - there is Withington Church And we once more cross the River Coln at the Mill Photos and captions by Richard, processed and uploaded by Sally
