Wotton to Tyndale Monument - Monday 21 October 2019 Previous Next All Chris leads us off along and up through the town We head along a quiet road Overlooking the vale Excellent views if you live here Bournstream and the wooded Brackenbury Hillfort is visible Keeping on the lower path But then we do have to climb up And need a pause for breath This area is regenerating Soon we emerge Into the light, Queens Bridge in the distance Up the monument for a few of us The plaque to commemorate William Tyndale Stormy weather for someone We head back to the woods Looks a bit brighter Along the Cotswold Way Towards Wotton Hill And the commemorative trees We take in the view Then steeply down through the trees And back through Wotton for lunch Photos, captions and uploading by Mike
